About

By now you must be wondering, “Who is this Ian Rogers guy anyhow?”  Well, I’m a graphics specialist from Montreal, Canada, working in illustration, web design, and graphic design.  I maintain this blog as a corollary to my portfolio site, Grey not Grey.

As an utter stranger I am certain that you are fascinated by my obsessions, so I invite you to join my facebook page to keep up to date on the latest fascinating things I become momentarily obsessed with, or if your tastes run to the more random, there’s my tumblr image blog.

Why Grey not Grey?  Well, there was once a client that asked,”I’m looking for a design that is grey, but not grey.  Do you know what I mean?”

Yes, I do.

I draw from my wide knowledge of art & graphic style to create images that reference new and classic looks with a fresh, original approach. I can create the work you need even if you can’t find the words to describe it.

Drop me a line are looking for a graphics specialist, or would simply like to say hello.

Thank you for posting our work and writing about it! We were wondering if you could include a link to our newest Book project on Kickstarter. That would be quite awesome!
    Thank you again,
    Nadine and Nick

    Hey Ian :)

What if the keyboards that we are buried in them blindly all day would work in reality? If you could escape something by a push of a button? Delete anything by a flick of a finger? Or format something you That you are stuck with?
A Small project I started recently… If you are walking around and see some buttons, click them …something might happen ;)
