Hello,
I have been in the possession of 2 35 mm slides ( 2 headed horse/at the movie theater) and 1 medium format chrome ( close up portrait of Jackie Onassis) of the late photographer Weegee (Arthur Fellig), for 20 years now.
I have not been wanting to part from these 3 photography treasures but I am now looking for either an institution or private collector to sell these items to or make them available for auction.
(I am also have his entire darkroom, including 2 tripods, distortion glasses, light meter and a few other things which I may be interested in selling as well)
I used to lived in Weegee’s and Wilma Wilcox’s house on 47th street, NYC and knew Wilma. I took over all these items right after Wilma passed away in the early nineties.
Please contact me if you are interested or possibly have a referral for me. Thank you.
Regards,
Sascha Vaughan.
